A homeless man trapped in chest-high water was rescued early Friday morning in Lake Highlands, Dallas Fire-Rescue reported. Crews used a rope, ladder and vest to get him out of danger near Forest Lane and Cottonwood Creek Trail after another homeless man saw him around 3:30 a.m., officials said.
